Pair of wood, Formica and velvet armchairs. Designed by Ricardo Blanco, 1969 for Stilka. Argentina. ​Ricardo Blanco (1940 - 2017) 1940 was born in Buenos Aires. 1963 attends the seminary of Tomás Maldonado. 1966 wins the First UTN Logo Prize. 1967 graduate as an architect from the UBA, studied with César Jannello and Wladimiro Acosta and began working at Stilka. 1967 wins the First Prize School Equipment Competition Museum of Fine Arts of La Plata. 1968-1970 travels through Mexico, the United States and Europe. 1973 begins teaching activity in Mendoza. 1982 wins the CAYC Award for Furniture Designer. 1984 creates the FADU-UBA DI Curriculum. 1985 creates the career of Clothing and Textile. 1986 creates the Design career of the National University of Córdoba. 1987 creates the first Postgraduate Course of the National University of Mar del Plata. 1988 creates the Design career of the National University of Mar del Plata. 1992 begins the Postgraduate DIMO-FADU-UBA. 1992 receives the diploma to Merit Konex. 1998 receives the Highlight Movelsul award, Brazil. 1998 starts the MAMBA Design Collection. 1999 exhibits Graphic Design at MAMBA. 2000 integrates Team Fierro. 2001 is named Academic of Number of the National Academy of Fine Arts (ANBA). 2002 is named Konex Platinum Award. 2004 gives Argentine Design conference in Milan. 2004 exposes Team Fierro in MARQ. 2005 wins Pure Design Award. 2006 exhibits individually in MARQ. 2010 first ANBA Presidency. 2011 Professor Emeritus UBA. 2011 exposes “This is not a chair” in Klemm. 2012 jury Konex Award. 2012 chairs Klemm Foundation. 2012 second ANBA Presidency. 2013 the Twist II chair is chosen for the Musée Arts Décoratif Collection, Louvre, Paris. 2015 exhibits at MNBA in Neuquén. 2015 invited to the BA Biennial of Architecture at the Recoleta Cultural Center.
