Poul Volther Lounge Chair
About the Item
This incredible statement armchair was designed by Poul Volther and produced by manufacturer Erik Jørgensen in the early 1960s. This piece features a structural oak frame comprised of sharp angles and the use of single wooden elements to create artistic shapes and negative space within the frame. These sharp angles continue through to the arms of the chair creating a unique overall structure to the piece.
Alongside the oak frame the chair is upholstered in a rich cognac leather with a wonderful patina.
