A Chinese Qing Dynasty period dark brown lacquered armchair from the 19th century with out-curving stickback and low stretchers. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period in the 19th century, this armchair features an open stick back with out-curving lines, connected to two arms adorned in a similar manner. A rectangular planked seat is resting upon a reeded apron while the ensemble is raised on four straight cylindrical legs connected to one another through low stretchers providing additional strength to the piece. Boasting a dark brown lacquer complimenting the lines beautifully, the chair charms with its simple modernity.
