On offer on this occasion is an entirely-original Ralph Lauren "Writers" Chair and Ottoman, dressed in a peerless top-grade Brown Regency Leather.
As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this Ralph Lauren suite, this pair is of peerless quality, and exhibits detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard.
Irresistibly welcoming, unashamedly handsome and with presence and impact in abundance. A real statement piece of boundless character and, most importantly, as comfortable as any armchair you will ever encounter.
This piece is in original, heavily-vintaged and beautifully-maintained condition and, whilst its rich patina clearly reflects the regular employment it has seen in the past (you don't buy one of these beauties to look at!), it is reassuringly free from fault, flaw or damage. Its fine order reflects the TLC and considerate use afforded it in the past but, as you should realistically expect from pieces of this covering and nature, there are a considerable number of superficial, minor blemishes to be found.
In this case, there are a number of modest, minor marks across the acres of leather covering this pair (which is inevitable on a buttery-soft, supple hide of this kind) which, in our humble view, only really serves to add to its air of relaxed grandeur and authenticity.
With it being blessed with the kind of personality, character and patina that is rarely-found and impossible to recreate, would you really want it any other way? Perhaps, but that said, and as the images provided will attest, these issues prove to be of little cosmetic significance and, rather than being mentioned because they detract from the beauty of the pieces, are mentioned purely for the purposes of accuracy.
Please view the images provided closely to confirm its superb condition and gorgeous appearance. A more timeless, handsome, indulgent seat is impossible to imagine.
The dimensions of the this gargantuan armchair are H-94cm, W-104cm and D-104cm, and the breathtakingly-relaxing seating position this iconic "wing-back" design creates is enhanced by the use of sumptuously comfortable, generously upholstered backrest and feather-filled seat cushion, which leaves you powerless to resist its charms.
You will never sit in anything more-comfortable, i promise you. I love, love, love them :)

On offer on this occasion is a superb, immaculate as-new, oversized, deep-buttoned Armchair and Ottoman, unashamedly-inspired by the devastatingly-handsome and much-coveted Ralph Lauren "Writers" Armchair and Ottoman , dressed in a peerless, top-grade, vintaged pale-walnut leather.
We acquired this sublime pair from a long-standing client, who had commissioned these pieces (at considerable expense) to be hand-made to meet his exacting requirements as part of a large renovation project in the Cotswolds. The brief was for a seat identical in all regards to the RL original, except to be finished in this particular colour and finish of leather (which was not an option with RL, hence having these made elsewhere) and, as the images provided will testify, can confirm a truly-exceptional result was achieved by all involved.
