Stunning Pair of Hand Carved Italian Walnut Antique circa 1860 Throne Armchairs

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely pair of original Italian circa 1860 hand carved walnut throne armchairs with period upholstery A wonderfully decorative and super original pair of Venetian hand carved throne armchairs. The frames are a tour de force of craftsmanship, they really are truly sublime The upholstery is period and slightly distressed around the front edges, otherwise its in good order. The bases have oversized coil springs with horsehair padding We have cleaned, waxed and polished the frames from top to bottom, apart from normal age and use related patina they are in sublime condition for the age and some of the best examples I have ever seen Dimensions Height:- 122cm Width:- 75.5cm Depth:- 75cm Seat height:- 50cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
