Have you ever seen a more interesting a decorative example! It is Aesthetic Movement with an ornately carved, ebonised frame, the arms are especially decorative and they are each inset with original, circa 1820 Grand Tour Italian plaques. The fabric is again period dating to the early Victorian era, this is a museum quality armchair and the only one of its kind I have ever seen Condition wise is unrestored, as you can see the plaques have breaks and various losses, the fabric is worn and has a small patch missing at the front along with other areas of patina, it really doesn't matter though, it is original and in any condition it is highly collectable Dimensions Height:- 84cm Width:- 72cm Depth:- 94cm Seat height:- 34cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
