Swedish 18th Century Black Painted Baroque Armchair

About the Item

A Mid 18th Century Swedish writing desk armchair painted in black, in solid oak wood. This Scandinavian baroque seating is sturdy and ready to place directly in a studio, a hall or in a big living room. Additionally, may be placed in front of a fireplace. The nicely worn black paint is most likely from the end of the 19th Century. This is a nice size chair, comfortable and has been upholstered with new fabric. The chair has carefully been restored in 1934, according to a hand written message under the seat.
