About the Item

Charming and unusual Swedish Folk Art chair made by a skilled craftsman in the early 20th century. The chair is constructed from solid oak and oak laminate decorative arm rests. The back rest shows a distinctive owl shape with the traditional heart shape cut-out that makes for a handle to easily move the chair around. This type of chair is a traditional folk art chair in Scandinavia and is seen in different examples.
