About the Item
1960s fully restored Th. Harlev teak armchair reupholstered in black leather in excellent condition.
The model 213 armchair in teak was designed by TH Harlev for Farstrup Møbler in 1958.
The well designed, well crafted and very comfortable chair will fit in well almost anywhere in the house or in the office eigther as a "stand alone" chair, as a pair or chairs or a set of chairs around a dining or conference table.
The frames of the chairs have been fully restored by our experienced cabinetmakers - all joints checked and reglued under pressure if needed, frames cleaned and sanded by hand and refinished with wax.
Seats and backrests have been reupholstered with new foam and Sorensen Lasthers "Black Basic" leather
As a Protected leather, BASIC is smudge-proof, water repellent, dirt repellent, stain resistant, durable and easy to maintain. BASIC is used for a vast range of iconic designs you see as collectibles in museums, galleries, executive settings and private residences worldwide. Such as the Series 7™ chair and the Ant™ chair designed by Arne Jacobsen.

- Condition:Reupholstered. Repaired: All joints checked and reglued if signs of weakness, all other needed repairs made, frames sanded 2 - 3 times by hand and dents evend out, waxed 2 - 3 times, seats and backrests fully reupholstered with new foam and leather. Refinished.
