Thonet chair in curved wood, barber chair, circa 1920
About the Item
Swivel chair made entirely of solid wood. The backrest and seat are round in shape. On the back of the backrest and on the seat there are some floral design workmanship. The oval armrests are made of curved wooden thick slats. The base is made up of 4 finely crafted curved wooden spokes. Belonging to Art Nouveaux. Once used as a barber's armchair.
Produced by Thonet in the early 1900s.
Good condition, light marks on the seat. Entirely restored.
