The armchair, compact and elegant, has a refined wooden structure of great geometric rigor. One of the most iconic and representative works of the famous Italian designer's work, created for a company (Poltronova), which has become a style icon
Sergio Asti was trained as an architect at the Polytechnic University of Milan ( 1947 - 1953 )and opened his studio the same year of his graduation.
Among the first Italian industrial designers, he became a founding member of the UAM (Union of Modern Artists), which contributed to shaping the industrial aesthetic of the post-war period.
