19th Century French Carved Oak Bench

About the Item

19th century oak bench from France with the most glorious hand carved decoration we have had the privilege to offer. The back of the bench is wonderfully tall, and has three panels, all with exquisite hand carved decoration, separated by hand carved moldings. The arms are curved and are 23.5 inches in height. The seat has been stunningly re-upholstered in linen and has double welt decoration meticulously trimming the entire seat. The back legs are splayed and the front legs are hand turned and carved with joining hand carved and scalloped stretchers. The seat measures 21 inches in height.
