Long Willy Guhl Concrete Bench, 1960s, Switzerland

About the Item

Substantial mid-century concrete seat/ bench by Eternit, circa 1960s. Imagine it placed in a quiet garden, dappled in warm sunlight beneath a swaying tree. Perfect minimal concave design with convex sides that bow out gently. The bench is made of fiber cement which has allowed it to develop an incredible patina. Two factory drilled drainage holes in the seat. A beautiful piece with a strong presence. Very sturdy and able to comfortably seat 3 adults. Natural wear as shown. A matching bench is available in a separate listing. Located at our Los Angeles showroom.
