Willy Guhl 2 Tiered 47" Concrete Trough Planters, 1960s Switzerland

About the Item

Rare and unique large trough planters by Swiss architect and industrial design pioneer Willy Guhl for Eternit, Switzerland circa 1960s. All are in a white and aged paint with perfect patina. A subtle ridge is cast around the body of each planter giving them a simple and elegant 2-tier design and also allowing them to be stacked into each other. Factory drilled drainage holes in the bottom of each planter. Both stand on 2 ridge feet at the base to allow for drainage underneath. Perfect width for narrow spaces as well as a good weight and depth allowing for larger plants. Priced individually. 8 available.
