Pair of Biedermeier Style Benches Austria First Half 20th Century
About the Item
Pair of Biedermeier-style benches made in the 20th century. In cherry wood have five uprights , with outwardly curved arms, a boat-shaped back with a small central armrest; on the back are turned pinnacles and adorning carved and lacquered faux bronze appliqués, rosettes, one of which is missing, and an athlete's head taken from the antique.
