Louis XVI Style Giltwood Carved Bergere/ Arnchair with Green Velvet
About the Item
Early 20th or late 19th century Louis XVI Bergere wing chair in carved giltwood. High comfortable back with lovely foliate carved detail around the back of the wing, ending in reeded arms with rope detail and reeded legs ending in toupie feet. The legs have classic rosette details on the corners. The chair has been professionally reupholstered and is a lovely shade of green velvet. This chair would make a statement in any livingroom, library, or bedroom and is the perfect comfortable reading chair in any corner of your home.
