About the Item

Mid-18th Century hand-carved 1750 Venetian Baroque walnut sofa, three-seat with armrests. Remarkable work by Venetian cabinetmakers. The 18th Century was in Venice the Golden Age. Aristocratics and great merchants asked to Venetian artisans to work at the best and create piece of furniture which beautiful must be unforgettable: and so it was. One of these pieces is this hand-carved walnut canape. The carvings' refinement enhance its shape. The sofa will be delivered with the fabric silk shown in the photo, in good conditions or with a new upholstered cover with the fabric chosen by the client from those proposed, price excluded, by request. We can ship in safe conditions all over the world. The piece will be delivered with its Certificate of Authenticity.
