18th c Bergen County Child's Arm Chair

About the Item

Rare early 18th century Child,s Slat back arm chair. Bergen County, New Jersey. Original painted surface with original yellow painted rush seat. Similar chair sold at Sotheby's Important Americana sale in 2018. Sotheby's v\chair was signed by Charles A Demarest (1800-1826). This chair has finer turnings, and an original painted yellow seat, and polychrome paint.
