About the Item

Queen Anne style chair. Characteristic of the 18th century, but often reproduced in 19th and early 20th century pieces. The backrest is cut out in the shape of an inverted vase, typical of this style, with sinuous lines that bring elegance and lightness to the structure. The front legs, in cabriolet format, end in curled feet reinforcing the elegance and design. The front of the seat is decorated with shell carvings and wavy cut-outs. Despite the absence of a seat, this chair shows careful joinery and well-balanced proportions. The piece suggests its original use in dining rooms or formal settings, and is a good example of decorative and functional furniture from the period.
