About the Item

The Caboose Chair was first designed for the Union Pacific Railroad and was put into every caboose on the train. Specifically made to withstand abuse, this was one of the strongest chairs made. These chairs were made by highly skilled craftsmen with dedication and experience. A must-have for any space. Bentwood spindle arm caboose chairs also saw service in the old firehouses, saloons, and pubs of the day. Reinforced with turned wood. This beautiful set is made from Oak, circa 1880s. It features a contoured seat for added comfort. Dimensions: 19.5" x 20.5" x 30.5"h, seat 17.5"
