About the Item

A beautiful pair of antique carved wood chairs with rolled arms and plaid upholstered seats. This set features carved wood bases with stylized backs and bases. One of the chairs is larger, the "King" chair, and the second is smaller and often referred to as a "Queen" chair. The bottom cushions are removable. The Queen chair features a small cushion that is attached to the back and flips over to the front of the chair for use as a head cushion. A fabulous set that with a little reupholstery and attention to the wood, would be fabulous in a sitting room. Dimensions: King chair: 33" wide Seat 18.5" tall Arms: 23.5" tall Seat: 21.5" deep Back: 40" tall 31" deep overall Queen: 33" wide Arms 23.5" tall Back 34" tall 30" deep Seat 21.5" deep.

Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. Minor fading. This set is in need of reupholstery and has moderate scratching and signs of wear to the wood, and some loose pieces of wood to the apron. They are structurally sound and would be fabulous with refreshing and new upholstery and wood repair.
