Chinese Huanghuali (Rosewood) Spindle Back Chair, Meiguiyi, 18th/19th Century A fine 19th century Chinese huali (rosewood) chair with spindle backsplat, woven cane seat, and wood carving detail, meiguiyi, 18th/19th Century. Beautiful hand-carved design on seat rail. The spindles elegantly curve out at the top. Good overall condition. One area of loss on back of chair, one spindle less perfect.
