British Colonial Ceylonese Solid Satinwood & Hand Cane Armchair

About the Item

British Colonial Ceylonese Solid Satinwood & Hand Caned Armchair Made entirely out of satinwood. Gentle curved back. Hand caning seat - still in good condition. Spiral arms are a unique detail on this chair. Front legs are turned, back splay out. 20th Century. Comes with cushion unless otherwise indicated. Original wood pegs used for construction. 21" wide x 32" deep x 37.5" high (overall) x 18" seat height 27.5" arm height 22" deep x 18.5" wide (interior seat dimensions) Good overall condition. General wear to finish and caning consistent with age and use. General age to caning but in good stable condition.
