Stripped away from all excess, this hanging chair has a circular frame with the sheets of leather or fabric hanging loose within it, to create a sleek, sexy, and oh so comfortable experience. This chair’s clean lines and lightness makes it a perfect fit for any space.
Pairing the purity of simple tubular steel with the sensual warmth of natural hide, it has a sleek look and an air of functional elegance.
The Debossed Pattern is pressed into the Thick Natural Leather leaving an indentation of the pattern.
The patterns available are inspired by nature, including a selection of leaves as well as a geometric pattern that is our interpretation of a deconstructed giraffe pattern.
Coming soon are debossed patterns of South Africa’s Little 5; the Elephant Shrew, Buffalo Weaver, Leopard Tortoise, Antlion and the Rhino Beetle.
These patterns can be paired with any colour options we offer in the Vegetable Tan Leather, which are a variety of browns, black, red and more on request.
Each one is handmade with care by our craftsmen. Form-fitting comfort, perfect for any indoor spaces.
As you live with your product, the leather will evolve. With the correct care, the appearance of your newly-purchased piece will retain its beauty, developing its own character and patina.
Comes with a soft blanket bolster for additional comfort. (Leather bolster available at an additional cost.)

The hanging mechanisms are supplied with the chair - in standard lengths, ready for installation.
The Sling chair can disassemble and splits in half for flat packing – great in economising packing and freight.

Studio Stirling's passion is designing unique Hanging Swing Chairs, Loungers, Daybeds and Swings, which we then make by hand! The collection is designed by multiple award winning designer team Joanina and David Pastoll.
All of them are ideal for inside or outside use and look gorgeous on a deck, patio, hanging from a branch of a tree or anywhere indoors. They are great used as functional art pieces or a signature item.
As each one is made by hand it therefor allows for each piece to have individualism and uniqueness in some of the pattern detailing due to the variance of craftsmanship. They are made from steel - so very strong and durable, E coated for rust protection (like on the chassis of a car) and then powder coated. Form-fitting comfort, ergonomic design perfect both for indoor and outdoor spaces: choose yours from our collection.
