About the Item

Charming early 19th century English country corner chair in elm, ash and fruitwood, the compass back with scrolled arms and shallow back crest over unusual "Templar Cross" pierced back splat over plank seat and standing on square legs joined by box stretchers, the whole possessing good rich color and patination.
