Antique English George III Carved Mahogany Corner Chair with Pierced Slats
About the Item
Late 18th/ Early 19th c., English George III carved mahogany corner chair with each side with pierced splats below a curved chair rail, the drop in seat above a X form stretcher joining square legs. The seat is upholstered in a yellow, gold and pale blue damask and ikat patterned fabric.
The carving is of wonderful detail and quality. The wood has acquired an almost buttery feel and lovely patina from years of care and use.

Condition:
Good, minor surface distress, minor spots of staining to upholstery, possibly some old restorations.
