Vintage George III Style Carved Giltwood Wall Mirror

Vintage 20th c., George III style carved giltwood mirror with scrolled vine open work frame, unmarked. Dimensions: Approx. 47"h x 27"w x 3"d Condition: Fair, losses, chips, cracks, repairs, gilding loss and wear. Though this mirror's condition is evident of age and use, it remains a lovely piece. Provenance: The Estate of Lilo De La Passardiere, 40 Central Park South, NYC Lilo, stage name of Liselotte Johanna Lewin (2 March 1921 – 26 September 2022), was a German-born French actress and singer.[1] Biography Lilo was born in Dortmund in 1921 as Liselotte Johanna Lewin. In 1953, she played the lead role in the musical Can-Can at the Shubert Theatre, where she notably sang the songs "C'est Magnifique" and "I Love Paris", written by Cole Porter. She died in New York City on 26 September 2022 at the age of 101.
