George III Giltwood Monumental Wall Mirror Hand-Carved
About the Item
Magnificent giltwood mirror. In the Chinese Chippendale Style. Adorned with acanthus leaves, elegant scrolled carvings. Crowned with a Pagoda style pavillion surmounted in a 'floating' garden setting with a lambrequin apron. Bottom Apron featuring a center cartouche.
The original mirror has been replaced with a new silver backed glass mirror.
