Rare fully stamped Victorian 1840 hoop back Windsor chair High Wycombe.
Beautiful patina, wonderful workmanship and remarkably comfortable.
Very sturdy. This chair alone can provide wonderful atmosphere in a room.
Early Victorian elm Windsor hoop back side chair, circa 1840 from High Wycombe.
Because they are so well made, the joints are all good, there is no woodworm or wobbling, the wood has a good natural patination, they have not been stripped or stained
Very nice chair which stands out by its good quality. The chairs are stamped, an English cabinetmaker from High Wycombe in the suburbs of London.
