A Very Pretty French Leather Club Chair Normandy Model Circa 1920’s
About the Item
This beautiful and extremely rare chair has been perfectly preserved. The colour of the leather is best described as warm chestnut. The exquisite studwork accents the perimeter and the fine scrolled arms. With original leather club chairs almost extinct in their first condition, this is a special find. There are no rips or previous repairs and all the necessary seatwork has been completed for your peace of mind. This is a beautiful chair that would grace any setting.

We specialise in original, French, leather club chairs. Even though our stock is quite consistent, finding original club chairs in a very good, original condition is a constant challenge. With our partners in France, we are always on the lookout and our chairs can be found anywhere from a local brocante to a chateau sale, from the north to the south of France.
In our experience, nearly all the chairs will need attention to the springs, after all they're not just objects of beauty, they are to be used. In addition, the leather on our chairs is always nourished and the upholstery cleaned.
