Carved Mahogany and Caned Recamier or Daybed with Cushion

About the Item

A mahogany and caned recamier or daybed with carving on both sides, a caned rolled end, and reeded legs. The caning is newly done and in a very tight woven pattern without holes, making it stronger than the usual open hole caning. The foam cushion is custom made for the piece with a bolster and two matching down pillows and there is a choice of the striped cushion or the off-white or both. Height of the seat is 18", height of the rolled end is 28" and the height of the backrest is 32".
