About the Item

Fledermaus Chairs by Josef Hoffmann for Wittmann, 1980s Fledermaus set in Art Nouveau style consisting of four chairs, executed by the company Wittmann. The design is by Josef Hoffmann from 1905 for the Cabaret Fledermaus and was originally executed by J.&J. Kohn. Specially designed in Vienna in 1907 for the Fledermaus cabaret in Vienna, this suite was later produced by the Kohn bentwood furniture company. The runners and the wooden spheres on the joints are typical Hoffmann style elements. The seating set is in good condition and shows small signs of use. To the chairs: Model 728S Beech wood, red velvet upholstering, nice condition, ready to be used. Typical Hoffmann balls Wittmann company logo present. Dimensions chairs: H: 75cm W: 51cm D: 44 cm
