Flötotto set of 2 Pagwood chairs by Elmar Flötotto
About the Item
A set of 2 Flötotto chairs in the sought-after design with a high backrest and upholstered seat and backrest. These chairs allow for very comfortable seating in combination with a design icon. The Pagwood shells are in perfect condition. The seat cushions are upholstered in a fire-red fabric and show minimal signs of wear. The chrome runners of the chairs are in very good condition.
In the 1960s, the Flötotto company began using Pagwood to produce seat shells for chairs. Pagwood had the advantage of being very stable and being able to be made into various shapes. Within a short time, Flötotto was known for developing ergonomic and dynamic seat shells.
