Organic vintage and authentic eight dining chairs or chairs from rattan and metal by Gian Franco Legler 1950s.
A fabulous rare and authentic eight ( 8 ) dining chairs or easy chairs with a very comfortable seat shell from fine weaved rattan and black lacquered feet with rubbers.
This design icon by Gian Franco Legler was designed in 1951 for an Italian restaurant named The Basket. In 1953 Gian Franco Legler got the Good Design Award from the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Throughout its sleek and timeless design as well as its high seating comfort the stackable chair is a true evergreen.
We collected a rare quantity of 8 chairs over a time from different sources and now we could proudly present a set of 8 dining chairs The Basket for your dining space.
The chairs could work perfect in hospitality areas as restaurants, hotel lobbies and breakfast rooms. In offices or workspaces these chairs could set wonderfully in a meeting space.
The condition is very good and ready for immediate use.
The chairs are stable and sturdy and show signs of age and use as variant color tones at the seat shells. The lively and vivid play with colors underlines the beauty of this set.
