About the Item

This exquisite set of four Neoclassical Chairs from the Mailfert Amos Collection is a perfect example of the elegance and craftsmanship of 18th and 19th-century French furniture design. Made of solid cherry wood with beechwood seat railings and corner reinforcements, the chairs are finished with a transparent lacquer and artificially antiqued to enhance their timeless appeal. The seat frames are carefully screwed into the reinforcements, ensuring both durability and sophistication. The seats have been newly upholstered in a striking petrol-colored cotton velvet, offering a modern twist on the classic design while maintaining the neoclassical style’s essence. The cushions are constructed with canvas, straps, foam, and batting, providing both comfort and support for any dining or living space. The inclusion of the Manufacturer's seal of approval assures the authenticity and high quality of this set. Designed in the spirit of Neoclassicism, which sought inspiration from Greco-Roman antiquity, these chairs embody the refined proportions, restrained decoration, and classical motifs characteristic of the period. This set is an elegant addition to any home, blending historical design with modern sensibilities.
