These very comfortable and lush upholstered armchairs or dining chairs show original cover in cream textile fabric, which is detachable. One chair shows the paper label with company´s name Cassina. Good stable and sturdy condition with signs of age and use. Rare complete set of eight “Pause” dining chairs designed by Mario Giannetti for Acerbis, Italy, dating from the 1980s. A highly distinctive Italian design combining sculptural bentwood construction with graphic white woven seats and backrests. The chairs feature elegantly curved wooden frames with sweeping front legs and characteristic arched side supports. The construction gives the chairs a remarkably light and architectural appearance while maintaining a strong sculptural presence. Both the seats and backrests are finished with broad white woven straps arranged in an attractive geometric pattern.
