Huge “Soho Buttoned-Drum” Ottoman Footstool in Dark Grey Italian Velvet

About the Item

This is the most spectacular, unused Bespoke “Soho Buttoned-Drum” Ottoman/Footstool, dressed in a breathtaking, peerless, top-grade, Italian-Velvet Fabric in an elegant, flexible Dark-Grey. In particular, this bespoke commission was created by a highly-respected (but trade-only) furniture-manufacturer from the North-East of England, where every craftsman employed has previously been retained (some in senior-positions) at the world-renown George Smith Furniture Factory in Northumberland. As such, its appearance, finish and components are consistent with the very best furniture money can buy, and is comfortably of equivalent quality to any George Smith/Kingcome/Ralph Lauren piece but, to be clear, and for the avoidance of any doubt, this piece does not originate from George Smith. In a world of temporary pleasures, these industry-leading, ex-George Smith craftsmen create beautiful furniture built to last a lifetime, with there being no finer, or more beautifully appointed, example of their work than this. This piece is in pristine, totally-unmarked condition, has never been employed since its costly commission a few months ago, and is entirely free from fault, flaw or damage. It is nothing short of perfect. Please view the images provided closely to confirm its sublime condition and appearance. A thing of real beauty and purpose. The stool dimensions are an impressive H-64cm, with a diameter/width of 128cm, which provides maximum flexibility and makes it endlessly practical.
