About the Item
A very fine French 19th century Louis XVI style giltwood carved five-piece salon suite, comprising of a canapé and four fauteuils, all with recent upholstery. The finely carved frames with paneled back, padded arm supports and seats, with ribbon tied flower-head cresting and leaf tipped borders, raised on turned tapered fluted legs. (All gilding original), Paris, circa 1890-1900.
