This 1960s vintage highback lounge chair features sculptural wood and groovy original 1960s fabric. The style is in the manner of Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates and Kipp Stewart for Drexel, and is an ideal candidate for reupholstery. This highback throne chair in the style of Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates would work great in a Postmodern, Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian Modern or Danish modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary or Zen / Minimalism room. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Transitional, Classical or Art Deco room with a splash of juxtaposition. This rare collectors piece is the Vladimir Kagan model #100-A 'Barrel Lounge Chair' on ball casters, designed in 1947, signed with Vladimir Kagan Designs label.
