About the Item
A handcrafted lounge chair and ottoman by famed designer and craftsman Ecuadoran Angel Pazmino made during the height of the 1960s Mid-Century Modern movement in South America. Made of solid rosewood using pegs and fitting together like an interlocking puzzle , having fine hand tooled embossed design work to the thick dark ebony brown leather seat and back. Angel studied the designs of the Danish modernists but put his own take on the modern movement using traditional studio crafting methods from his home country. Imported by E. Banisteria / T. Caivinagua / Cuenca Ecuador. The measurements for the ottoman is 19.5" L x 14" D x 15.5" H x SH 15"
