Art Deco Machine Age Sling Chair by McKay Craft Furniture Company
About the Item
Iconic Art Deco, Machine Age sling seat lounge chair having elegant chrome and black arms on a blacked steel spring base. The chair is in overall very good condition, the chrome is bright and shiny, it shows one inconsequential flaw ( loss of plating ) and the black stripping shows some loss, normal and consistent with age. The canvass seat also shows some signs of its age, fading and variation in color, but is not ripped or torn. Sleek sophisticated design, from the Machine Age period, style still relevant to todays interior spaces.
