Black and White Vintage Mid-Century Bentwood Lounge Chair Reimagined

About the Item

This chair is truly unique and deserved a makeover: it got one! This has wonderful lines, and the white upholstery looks fabulous against the black frame. The construction is sturdy and the chair is quite comfrtable. It is mid 20th Century at the earliest but more likely 1980s and in the Art Deco revival style. The Art Deco revival style is reflected in the ebonized bentwood features amd is probably from the 1980s. The ebonized laminated bentwood frame enclosing paired bentwood backs, over a D-shaped upholstered seat. It is unmarked. It is 33 inches overall tall and the height is 20 inches from the cushion to the floor. It is 24 inches wide and 19 inches deep. It is in vintage showroom condition. This chair is in wonderful retouched condition with new upholstery.

This is a circular mid-century modern table (unattributed) in the Danish style. It is beautiful in form, finish and function. The writing table has been refinished. It has a molded rail fitted with a drawer with two pulls that are original. The table rests on four down-curved legs ending in brass cuffs. It is constructed of cherrywood and is from the 1950s. The restored condition is excellent. The table is otherwise reflective of a vintage piece that presents extremely well for its age. There are no chips, scratches or dings in the wood finish.
