Brutalist Modern Brass, Black Oak & Boucle' Cant Lounge Chair by Egg Designs
About the Item
The Cant lounge chair has strong Brutalist proportions, this piece is designed by Egg Designs and manufactured in South Africa.
This Brutalist style lounge chair was inspired by the rough, brutal beauty of Africa.
The solid sand cast brass back slats are the real signature of this piece, is sand cast by an artisan casting company in the Natal Midlands in South Africa, the casting has a distinct wood grain finish which is part of the casting process.
The backrest is complement by Cubist solid French Oak legs and frame which have been treated with a blackening polish which gives it a burnished appearance. A natural Oak options is available, contact Egg to discuss possibilities.
The upholstery is a natural, off white Boucle' with pronounced tufts, the Boucle' is also available in charcoal grey.
