About the Item

Pair of Chalice Chairs by Orlando Diaz-Azcuy for HBF. Beautifully grained rosewood is covered in a thick glossy lacquer with the top edge detailed in black lacquer. The upholstery is a black, suede like, microfiber. Not sure if it is original to the chairs but it is in good condition. The apron and legs are covered in a semi-gloss black lacquer. The chairs are manufactured by HBF Furniture, a division of Hickory Furniture of High Point North Carolina. They are know for high quality and expertly crafted pieces, designed by the top furniture designers working today. Some of their design members include Barbara Barry, Joe Ricchio and the afore mention Orlando Diaz-Azcuy. Comfort and eye catching design are the main characters they look for in a chair, table, bench or stool.
