About the Item

Vittorio Varo for I.P.E., lounge chair, model 'Cigno, fabric, chrome-plated metal, Italy, 1968. The Italian designer Vittorio Varo created a striking design that adds a vibrant allure to your room and intensifies the experience of relaxing itself. A wing-like structure that resembles a butterfly is used for the construction of the seat. A tubular frame holds the same curved shapes as the body, creating a unified whole. The large seat and tilted backrest ensure that it is a true delight to have a pleasant and enjoyable time while sitting on it. The striped fabric has a glamorous look in gold and beige tones. The artistry and well-conceived proportions of this particular lounge chair allows you to place it as a visual statement in your interior. Kindly note that the fabric is in good, used condition with signs of age and use, including some stains and minor loose threads. Reupholstery is possible before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well. The listed price is per item.
