About the Item
A handsome pair of chairs in the style of Nyala. The chairs that Inspired this design were originally inspired by the timid Nyala antelope from the Bale Mountains of East Africa. These chairs are often carved either from mahogany or walnut and painted black. Made in the 21st Century. The design of these chairs is very similar to a style of afro futurist furniture design.
In very good condition.
No obvious markings on the pieces.
This pair would make a great accent in any home. The chair's hand-carved armrests and legs mirror the Nyala's unique, elegant horns and robust hind legs. Remaining faithful to the Nyala's non-territorial essence, this chair seamlessly integrates into modern living spaces' design schemes while preserving its distinct character.
