Pair of Leather Office Chairs from Princess Diana's Family Estate Spencer House
About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning pair of burgundy leather mahogany chairs from Spencer House which was built for the Spencer family between 1756-1766 for John, the first Earl Spencer, currently resides Charles Spencer the 9th Earl Spencer.
I have various pieces from the last Spencer house sale, which is still owned by Lady Diana Spencer’s family, the history of the items is that Lord Rothschild in the 1980’s leased the property, at that time the house was restored, the pieces furnished the offices, meeting rooms and the newly restored State rooms. Included with each listing is a picture of the piece in situs
This chair is part of a small suite.
The chair has been deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished from top to bottom.
