1960s Hans Wegner for Tarm Stole teak rocking chair in green leather, newly upholstered in a buttery soft Italian olive green leather and a full refinish.
This is a beautiful Hans J. Wegner rocking chair in teak. Stunning example of Danish design with the sensually curved arms inspired by traditional Windsor and Shaker furniture, fused with Wegner’s poetic lines. This wonderful piece features a characteristic high spindle back and shapely curvaceous arms and blade-style runners. A real nice catch for any interior, children room or natural themed style room. Newly upholstered padded seat and padded headrest in leather with beautiful leather straps holding the headrest in place. Dimensions: 43”H x 21.5"D x 27.5”W
Solid teak rocking chair by Hans Wegner for Tarm Stole OG Mobelfabrik. Made in Denmark and in good vintage condition. Padded seat and a padded headrest held in place by leather straps. Very comfortable and has a good rock. Classic Danish Modern design by one of the best. Would fit well in Mid Century Modern, natural, and minimalist themed rooms. The size of this rocker is impressive but does not overpower the room. The piece is marked “Made in Denmark”. They were also marked with a sticker along the frame of the seat and original owner removed it.
