About the Item

This rocking chair of patinated oak frame designed by Magnus Læssøe Stephensen (1903-1984) has seat and backrest of original woven seagrass. It was executed by cabinetmaker Clausen in Brørup, Denmark. ca. in the 1930s. Similar model presented at the exhibition “Købestævnet” in Fredericia, 1933.
