Folk Art Bent Twig Hand Crafted Adirondack Arts & Crafts Rocking Chair C1900

About the Item

Amazing original condition, so we'll taken care of and preserved. 125 years ago John Wiltout built this chair from hickory branches and a pine seat. Square head nails were used and they remain in there entirety today. Signed on the underside of the seat. It's so comfortable which seems wrong since it's such a fine piece of rustic folk art. These chairs do not come to the marketplace very often.
